We use only high-quality,
food-grade raw materials, almost exclusively from German slaughterhouses. Based on natural nutrition principles, we work with a high meat content and consistently avoid artificial additives.
Made in Germany begins with the breeding and husbandry of the animals. We rely on long-term partnerships with our suppliers. The animals come
from both large-scale and small-scale German farms. Using domestic products and raw materials allows for shorter transport routes. This has a significant impact on the sustainability of our products and influences our economic operations.
The health and well-being of your four-legged friends and ours are our highest priority. We develop our products as natural, complete foods specifically tailored to the needs of our animals. Because we want only the best for them.
The snow leopard lives on rocky plateaus. With sharp senses and tense muscles, it stalks its prey, using all its instincts to find the perfect moment. When developing our TUNDRA product line, we strictly adhered to the principles of species-appropriate nutrition and the nutritional closest to natural prey: a grain-free meal with a particularly high meat content and fresh vegetables. Give your pet the perfect prey and feed TUNDRA for cats.
After studying the original diet of the ancestor of our domestic dogs, the wolf, we realized that we needed serious improvements in the ingredients. Like the wolf, our domestic dog belongs to the order of carnivores, which feed mainly on meat and, when eating their prey, ingest fruit, vegetables, herbs and carbohydrates in the form of the contents of their stomachs, among other things. Our pet dog is equipped with a wolf's digestive tract and expects proper nutrition.
Tundra is the far north landscape near the Arctic Circle and vast boreal forests where wolves have roamed free on their instincts for centuries. They roam through vast landscapes and hunt together in packs. When developing our TUNDRA product line, we strictly focused on which diet is biologically appropriate to the species and comes closest to the wolf prey in terms of nutritional physiology.
Our TUNDRA line of products is nutritionally balanced and grain free. Only the best ingredients, a lot of fresh meat and fish in food quality, as well as fruit and vegetables are turned into a species-appropriate diet through our gentle manufacturing process. This combination is exactly what our darlings need today.
It's especially important to us to provide your pet with food that keeps them healthy and happy from birth to old age. We take nature as our model for our products. For example, all our products are grain-free and made with a high human-grade meat content. We avoid flavor enhancers and unnecessary chemical additives in any of our products. Because we want only the best for our animals, too.
TUNDRA is nutritionally balanced and ideally suited for all life stages of your pet. The finest ingredients and plenty of fresh, human-grade meat and fish make TUNDRA a species-appropriate diet. This dry food is completely grain- and potato-free and produced to a high standard. The low glycemic index of TUNDRA dry food can help prevent blood sugar fluctuations, thus ensuring a longer feeling of fullness.
The fresh, boneless meat and fish used in TUNDRA are of human-grade quality. The fresh wild salmon is deboned. Due to the high proportion of fresh meat, TUNDRA has a moderate protein content, and the protein is highly digestible. Because potatoes have a very high glycemic index, we completely avoid using them in our pet food. Wheat, corn, and rice often trigger allergies. Did you know that 95% of all product recalls are caused by grains?
The glycemic index indicates how high carbohydrate foods cause blood sugar levels to rise. The value is given as a percentage and is always based on the intake of 50 grams of carbohydrates from a food. The rise in blood sugar after the intake of 50 grams of glucose serves as a comparison value. The glycemic index of glucose is at 100 percent.
Foods with a high glycemic index cause blood sugar levels to spike. These foods include grains such as wheat, corn and rice. But potatoes also have a high glycemic index. If our animals eat a lot of carbohydrates with a high glycemic index, the risk of cardiovascular diseases increases enormously. In order to regulate blood sugar levels and avoid extreme fluctuations, we avoid these foods and instead use high-fiber ingredients, namely various types of fruit and vegetables.
Yucca schidigera can primarily help prevent bloating, arthritis, and rheumatism. It can improve gut flora, support cell protection, and boost the immune system. Sweet potatoes are packed with vital nutrients: carotenoids and anthocyanins – highly effective antioxidants. Despite their name, sweet potatoes are not potatoes but belong to the morning glory family, and the caiapo they contain can help lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
Flaxseeds are a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3 fatty acids), which can stimulate the immune system and promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. They contain important vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, and various trace elements. By swelling in the intestines, they can regulate bowel movements, stimulate intestinal motility, and protect the intestinal lining from inflammation.
Chicory root is rich in healthy nutrients such as vitamins A, B, and C, as well as potassium, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium. Chicory is also rich in bitter compounds. Cranberries contain high amounts of polyphenols and anthocyanins, which can have antibacterial and antioxidant effects. They are particularly rich in vitamin C and antioxidants and can have a positive effect on bladder and kidney function, as they can reduce the occurrence of bacterial infections in the bladder and kidneys.
Chickpeas are particularly rich in protein and nutrients. Besides protein and carbohydrates, they contain fiber, lysine, vitamins B1 and B6, and folic acid. Chickpeas can strengthen bones and nerves and stimulate blood production.
